Stone Weather Necklace

Montana moss agate & oxidized sterling silver necklace.

A one-of-a-kind necklace composed of individually selected Montana moss agate beads, each one different in colour, translucency and natural pattern.

Warm amber and honey tones move through smoky brown, cream, black and nearly colourless stone, creating an earthy, irregular rhythm along the necklace. The stones are individually wire-wrapped in oxidized sterling silver, with a handmade sterling silver hook clasp at the back.

The surface of the silver is deliberately darkened to bring out the contrast between the metal and the natural variation of the stones, while the faceted beads catch the light as the necklace moves.

Stone Weather is grounded and elemental, with the quiet presence of something shaped over time.

A note about the stones

Each Montana moss agate bead is naturally unique. Variations in colour, translucency, inclusions and pattern are part of the character of the stone and make this necklace impossible to exactly reproduce.
